Masters in TESOL

The State Education Department of New York approved our petition to offer the Masters in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).  All of our education programs (BS and MS) received the maximum national accreditation (7 years) by TEAC/CAEP in the Spring of 2014.

The Masters in TESOL program is designed to educate people who desire to gain knowledge and expertise in the teaching and learning process of students for whom English is a second language, either children or adults.

Faculty Assistant Professor, Hilda Rivera-Pantojas, announced that her dance company Danza Fiesta: Baile y Teatro Puertorriqueno traveled to Puerto Rico and participated in a “festival nacional de danzas folkloricas” called”Puerto Rico Sabe a Cultura” held on June 24, 2012.

The Bronx Chamber of Commerce celebrated its Ninth Annual Awards Day on October 6, 2011, by giving Boricua College its prestigious “Visionary Award.” The 2011 activity was Chaired by Lisa Alvarado Sorin, and Special Guest Presenter was the television star, Regis Philbin


The 5th Annual Dominican Book Fair in New York was held from Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th, 2013 at Boricua College’s, 155 St. and Broadway campus located in Manhattan. The Book Fair is a true cultural fiesta with music, theater, cinema, arts and crafts, paintings, dance and all the colorful manifestations of the Dominican people.
