PUBLIC NOTICE

The College is in the process of implementing renovations
to the first floor of the Brooklyn Campus Center at 9
Graham Avenue to accommodate individuals with
handicaps. Construction of new classrooms, restrooms, and
an elevator from/to the first floor and lower level have been
designed to meet compliances set forth by Federal and
State Government mandates. Construction, while set to
begin during the Fall 2019 and into the Spring, 2020
semester, is pending receipt of building/construction
permits from the NYC Department of Buildings. There can
be no construction until permits are secured.
Boricua College at the 9 Graham Campus Center—-until
reconstruction on the first floor is completed to
accommodate individuals with handicaps—-will provide
students who request accommodation with transportation
services to the College’s Manhattan or Bronx Campus
Centers via the College van, metro-card access, UBER or
LYFT car service. Please note that the nature of the
disability must be supported by recent/updated medical
documentation.
